And set up is quick and easy with only one connection to the TV. How is the CineMate® 15 system different from the CineMate® 120 and CineMate® 130 systems? The CineMate® 15 system uses a four-element speaker array, while the CineMate® 120 system offers improved performance with a five-element speaker array, and the CineMate® 130 system features the highest-performing soundbar from Bose. In addition, the CineMate® 120 and 130 systems offer HDMI connections with video switching, the ADAPTiQ® audio calibration system and a wireless connection to the Acoustimass® module, benefits not offered in the CineMate® 15 system. How does the CineMate® 15 system connect to a TV? The audio connection is made on the soundbar itself, using either the analog, optical digital or coaxial digital audio input, depending on the TV's output type. A permanently attached audio cable connects the soundbar to the Acoustimass® module, which can be hidden out of sight. What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the CineMate® 15 soundbar speaker? The CineMate® 15 system uses the reflective surfaces of the room to deliver a spacious home cinema experience. To ensure optimal audio performance, the soundbar should be placed equidistant from each side wall and directly in front-center of the TV. No objects should be placed on either side of the soundbar, nor should it be placed inside a cabinet, as this would result in a limited sound stage. What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the Acoustimass® module? For best sound quality, the Acoustimass® module should be placed on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with an electrical outlet nearby for the power cord. The module should not be placed on a shelf or table. An extension cable (sold separately) is available if the 3m audio cable is not long enough to connect to the soundbar. Do I need a separate receiver with the CineMate® 15 system? No, the system connects directly to your HDTV. Can the CineMate® 15 soundbar speaker be wall-mounted?
